International Museum Day is celebrated around the world on May 18. In 2023, the theme is "Museums, Sustainability and Well-Being".
In this context, the National Railway Museum will be the stage, over three days (18, 20 and 21 May), for a lot of music with the Lisbon band Expresso Transatlântico and the drums of the group Toc&Ródão from Vila Velha de Ródão. There is also puppet theater for families with the association Trinta por uma Linha, a conversation - concert on interculturality with the Academy of Cultural Producers of Orquestra Todos, guided tours and even a rail picnic. The three days include free entry to the Museum and all activities.
